Cyrus Rug gallery houses one of the largest and most exquisite collections of Persian and Oriental hand-woven rugs in North America. Cyrus Gallery showrooms are trusted and much admired resources for Persian and Oriental rug enthusiasts.

Mr. Atighehchi, an alumnus of American University's Kogod School of Business, has been active in the Persian and Oriental rug business from the age of 14. He has been a resident of Washington DC area since 1978, and founded the Cyrus Rug Gallery in 1979. For twenty years, he worked hard to accumulate one of the finest Persian and Oriental rug galleries in the Eastern Seaboard. Eventually the business outgrew the original location. In 1999, Cyrus Rug Gallery moved to its current home in Vienna, Virginia.
